Tom Harris has served as the Golf Professional at Delaware Country Club since 1990. Prior to arriving at Delaware, Harris completed 8 seasons as the head golf professional at Owensboro Country Club in Owensboro, Ky. Tom and his wife Beth are both Ball State University grads who met while in college, they have two children (Sarah and Grant).
Tom and his staff strive to make the golf operation and experience the best it can be. Always attempting to create a personalized service to increase the enjoyment of the membership is the golf shop's goal. Every effort is made to hire the best staff that truly enjoys helping members while at the club. Tom also seeks to provide the membership with the finest golf shop in the area. Tom Harris and Delaware Country Club have hosted nearly every state championship during his tenure. Accomplishments recently awarded include; 2006 Indiana PGA "Golf Professional of the Year", qualified for the 2005 National PGA Club Professional Championship, 1999 Indiana PGA "Private Club Merchandiser of the Year".
Assistant Golf Professionals
Brandon Precopio is in his first season at Delaware Country Club. Brandon comes from Lansing, Michigan and has served as a shop assistant at Cascade Hills Country Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Brandon attended the Golf Academy of America in Altamonte Springs, Florida receiving his Associates Degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management. Brandon has worked hard to become a good teacher of the game and also is a certified club fitter.
